I decided to throw together a list of all my official podcast appearances so far this year, if those subscribed to COTM would like to glimpse a fuller view of my thoughts. I’m always happy to ramble, and if you’d like to have me on your podcast, just send an email to cruxofthematterpodcast@gmail.com, or drop me a DM on Twitter (@TunaRJS). Thanks for following, everyone.
Crux of the Matter, Episode 14:
Landen and I managed to record a single podcast this year, touching on some themes surrounding work- of special interest was our tangent about how the modern western man views work in comparison to his ancestors. It was a fun discussion, and we’re hoping to get back together to record some full-length episodes very soon- January is too long ago.
Christian Ghetto Ep. 5:
I joined my dear friends Kruptos and Black Horse from the Christian Ghetto back in January to discuss events on America’s Southern Border that transpired between the Biden-Harris Administration and Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s administration. It was the second of a two-part discussion, so I would also listen to the 4th Episode of the Ghetto to get all of the necessary context (and I would also subscribe, as the Ghetto is an excellent group of politically-engaged Christians).
Christian Ghetto Ep. 6:
In January, I also joined a second Ghetto podcast with Kruptos and my friend Brian C. Wilson, of Montana Classical College. We discussed the recent online discussions around the philosophical movement of Vitalism, and attempted to establish whether and to what extent Christians can participate. Brian has an excellent grasp of the Greeks and his philosophical knowledge is top-notch. This episode is worth listening to solely for his expertise.
The J. Burden Show- Feb 2024 Call In show

My appearance is from 19:05-30:36, but it would be worth watching the whole podcast to catch the rest of Burden’s wonderful guests! I don’t even remember what Burden let me ramble about, but I remember that it was really fun.
Christian Ghetto Ep. 13:
In June, I once again appeared on the Christian Ghetto, to discuss the nature of America: what was it, what is it now, and how should Christians relate to it? You should definitely catch this one, it was a star-studded cast: Kruptos, C. Jay Engel, Jon Harris, William M Briggs, Lafayette Lee, Charles Haywood, and the Black Horse. And someone let me in there for some reason.
The J. Burden Show Ep. 213:
This July, J. Burden had me on for a more formal appearance than before. He got me to trundle on about my “Case for the Gen Z Whitepill” article, my previously enumerated thoughts on CS Lewis as a secretly great right-wing thinker, and a short preview of my article on William McKinley. Speaking of…
Audio read of “America’s Forgotten Statesman”
I threw together a small fraction of my thoughts on President William McKinley in an article (which you may have seen), and I made an audio/video adaptation as well. Please give it a look!
Thank you for the generous shout out. The Vitalism / Christianity conversation was a lot of fun.
